3-6 Urban Camp
It has shaped up to be what will be a very exciting and fun filled camp. The cost of the camp is being subsidised by the school in order to keep overall costs down and the cost per student is $250.
We are requesting that the second payment of $100 be made by Friday, April 19th by mySchoolConnect.
If would like to discuss a payment plan, please contact the school to arrange this.
School Athletics Training- from Lexi, Charlotte and Jack
Today is our Athletics training organsied by our House Captains. Thanks to Charlotte, Jack and Lexi for their hard work in organising and communication for the day. Also, thank you to all families who have put their hand up to come and run an activity on the day.
Sun Protection Policy Update
Recently, School Council approved an update to our Sun Protection Policy. From September 1st to April 30th, all students must wear a sun protective hat that shades the face, neck and ears for all outdoor activities. This means that hats are to remain at school until April 30th. All classrooms and the main entry/exit also now have sunscreen for student use.
NAPLAN 2024
Well done to all Grade Three and Five students who have completed NAPLAN last week. If any student missed a session last week, we will run repeat session this week.
Student Support Group Meetings
For those families involved in student support group meetings, the date for them to is Tuesday the 26th of March and information was sent home last week.
Early Finish Thursday 28th
Just a reminder that we have an early finish on Thursday the 28th at 1:30PM. Students are able to attend in casual clothes on the day.
Before School Duty- Duty of Care
As many families are aware, all teachers unlock their classroom doors at 8:45AM to allow students to drop their bags off and head outside however classroom teachers do not have a ‘Duty of Care’ until 9:00AM when classes begin. If students arrive prior to 8:45, we will ask and remind them to remain outside and not come into the school through the front door. We are reminding and requesting that all students (once bags are dropped off) remain outside on the yard where a yard duty teacher is on duty from 8:45AM. We love having families in our classrooms to help and if families would like to come and support the classroom reading time, we would love to have you in during learning time at 9:00AM.
