Special Person Open Morning

It was a great turn out for the Special Person Open Morning on Wednesday. It certainly was wonderful to have families and friends of all the students here and engaging in a variety of fun activities across the morning. Thanks to all the staff for their organisation of these great activities and all the special people who came in and made this day a fantastic day.

Kiwanis Terrific Kids Award

John Reid came in on Wednesday morning as well to present the Kiwanis Terrific Kids Award. This decision is certainly never easy as there a so many children that would be able to receive this award. However, it was with great pleasure that Daisy was presented the award. As a school captain and leader around the school, Daisy was selected to receive this recognition. Congratulations Daisy!

Report Writing Day- Friday, June 2nd

School Council have approved a Report Writing (Pupil Free Day) for Friday, June 2nd.

3/4 Camp- May 29th-31st

The Grade 3 & 4 students are off on the ¾ Camp to Bacchus Marsh on Monday with Mrs Gardner and Mr King. The students will participate in a variety of fun activities including bush walking, canoeing and archery. We look forward to hearing about their time away when they return.

5/6 Soccer and Field Hockey

If your child is attending the soccer (June 7th) or field hockey (June 2nd), we must provide a referee or scorekeeper. The field hockey has been sorted however we still need a referee for soccer. For field hockey, students will need appropriate footwear, a mouthguard and shin guards. The school will provide tops, socks and field hockey sticks for the day. Please check the uEducateUs permission slips for more information.

Covid and Flu Update

Firstly, if your child is sick or presenting flu-like symptoms, please keep them home from school. Please ensure that if your child is sick that you update uEducateUs to reflect this.  There have been a few enquiries as to what the process is if a child tests positive to Covid.

If your child tests positive to Covid,

  1. Parents/carers should complete the Student COVID-19 COVID Test Portal if a student tests positive to COVID-19 (via a PCR or rapid antigen test).
  2. Students who report a positive result are recommended to isolate for a minimum of 5 days and not attend school until their symptoms have resolved.
