3/4 Camp- May 29th-31st

Last week the 3/4 students travelled to Bacchus Marsh for our camp which was made possible through Lydia’s work and application through the Positive Start program. A big thank you to Kellie as well who organised, planned and communicated the event with families. The reports from all the students have been extremely positive and they had a wonderful experience.

4/5/6 Field Hockey

On Friday the 2nd, our 4/5/6 hockey team ventured off to the hockey complex in Bendigo to compete in a round robin field hockey event. Over the day, the team played 3 matches, winning two and drawing one. From there, they played in the championship game against Marong Primary School. The championship was a 4-0 win and as a result, the team has been invited to compete at the regional level in Swan Hill. Thanks to the coaches and helped on the day and a massive congratulations to our superstar hockey team!

5/6 Soccer- postponed

This morning we received information that the 5/6 soccer has been postponed until Friday the 16th, unfortunately when we are on Snow Camp. We are waiting to hear back to see if there is another date that we can attend.

King’s Birthday- Monday the 12th

Just a reminder that it is a three day weekend this weekend with no school on Monday.

5/6 Snow Camp

The 5/6 students are off on their Snow camp from Tuesday the 13th to Friday the 16th. Liam and Lydia will head off with the students on the Tuesday morning. More information is available on uEducateUs.

Covid Information and Masks

Firstly, if your child is sick or presenting flu-like symptoms, please keep them home from school. Please ensure that if your child is sick that you update uEducateUs to reflect this.  There have been a few enquiries as to what the process is if a child tests positive to Covid.

If your child tests positive to Covid,

  1. Parents/carers should complete the Student COVID-19 COVID Test Portal if a student tests positive to COVID-19 (via a PCR or rapid antigen test).
  2. Students who report a positive result are recommended to isolate for a minimum of 5 days and not attend school until their symptoms have resolved.

Staff and students who wish to wear a face mask should be supported to do so, and schools should continue to make face masks available for staff, students and visitors. The Department of Health recommends that masks should be worn by a person who is a close contact of someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 when leaving home. Additionally, the Department of Health recommends that masks should be worn by a person who has COVID-19 for at least 7 days after a positive test when they need to leave home.
