Tutoring Program

Eppalock Primary School offers focused, intense learning opportunities for some of our students in the form of the Tutor Learning Initiative.

The Tutor Learning Initiative is catered to students who require intervention or extension in the areas of literacy and numeracy.  These students are identified through classroom assessments and teacher judgements.

These opportunities will be provided in a variety of 1:1, in class or small group settings (approximately 2-3 students) on Tuesday's with a specialist Tutor (Ms Hartney).

Parents of students who are involved in the program will receive a letter home outlining the support that will be provided.

On Thursday's and Friday's other staff members from across the school work in classrooms to help support the learning needs of the classroom and also to assist teachers where required.  This allows all staff to observe each other teach and ensure consistency in delivery of curriculum across the school.

This is a great opportunity for our students to get some extra attention with their learning and allows us to continue to cater for the individual needs of all our students.
