HDFNL Clean Up
This year, we are participating in the HDFNL Grand Final Clean Up Day. This day occurs after the Grand Final is played in Huntly and generally takes around 1-2 hours to clean up from the Grand Final. This year, the money from the day will go towards supporting our Epparock Musical Production which will take place on Thursday, October 17th at the Mandurang Hall. More details on the event will follow however we would love to have as many people come along on the day and help the clean up.
Planning for 2025
We are beginning to plan for 2025 and are asking families to provide any changes in student enrolment information to the school as soon as possible.
Tree Planting Day- Friday 9th
Students will be leaving school at 9.30 and returning at approximately 2PM for our Tree Planting Day. We have booked a bus for the day and look forward to having our wider community come along for what will always a great day. There is a BBQ on the day and hopefully, if all goes well, a fire too. On the day, if students could please wear appropriate shoes/boots, that would be great. If you would like to take your child home straight form the event, that is fine however please make sure you contact your child’s classroom teacher on the day.
Parent Opinion Survey
Our school is conducting a survey to find out what parents/caregivers/guardians think of our school. The Parent/Caregiver/Guardian Opinion Survey is an annual survey offered by the Department of Education that is designed to assist schools in gaining an understanding of families’ perceptions of school climate, student behaviour, and student engagement. The survey is optional but we encourage all families to participate. Our school will use the survey results to help inform and direct future school planning and improvement strategies.
All families are invited to participate in the survey. The survey will be open from July 26th to August 30th. The survey will be conducted online, only takes 20 minutes to complete, and can be accessed at any convenient time within the survey period on desktop computers, laptops, tablets or smartphones. Please contact the office if you would like more information.
