Term 4 Week 2 2024

FROM THE PRINCIPAL - TERM 4, WEEK 2, 2024

Andrew King on Leave

Thank you everyone for the very warm welcome last week during my first couple of days at Eppalock PS. As I mentioned on Friday morning at Assembly, I am really looking forward to joining you all for a couple of weeks whilst Andrew is away from school on leave.

It was great last week to come in and see the business of a production entering its final stages and I’m looking forward to a great community event this Thursday evening.

School of Gepparock

Eppalock Primary School 2024 Production was an epic success.  We laughed, we cried, we sang along as the students of Eppalock Primary school wowed us with their production, School of Gepparock, in front of a sold out crowd.
Summary:

"Take a lumbering stroll to the countryside and step into the delightful community of Gepparock Primary School (G.P.S) where a very ordinary Friday unexpectedly, and rather suddenly, becomes quite extraordinary. Do the staff and students have what it takes to overcome the colossal challenge they are faced with? Join them in this compelling musical tale to find out!"

Working With Children Check

The Working with Children Check is a screening process for assessing or re-assessing people who work with or care for children in Victoria.

At Eppalock PS we require any volunteers to have a current WWCC.

These checks are free for Volunteers.  PLEASE CHECK TO SEE IF YOUR WWCC IS CURRENT AND THAT WE HAVE A COPY OF IT HERE AT THE SCHOOL.  I HAVE JUST UPDATED OUR FILES AND WE HAVE A LOT THAT ARE NO LONGER CURRENT GOING BY OUR RECORDS.

Please remember that you cannot help out with any school activities unless you have a current WWCC
