FROM THE PRINCIPAL - TERM 4, WEEK 6, 2024

Grade 5/6 Book Launch

This (14^th) our Grade 5/6 students will be launching the Picture Story Books they have been diligently working on for some time now. Everyone is welcome, our launch will kick off at 2.45pm.

Report Writing Day

We are having a Curriculum Day (pupil free) on Monday 18^th November to allow teachers to finalise student reports for the end of the year.

P-2 Teacher on Wednesday

Megan Howes, who has done some work in the P-2 room earlier this term, will be teaching in the P-2 room for the remainder of the term on Wednesday’s. If you are in on a Wednesday, please pop in and say g’day.

Remembrance Day Ceremony

Today, just before 11AM, our school captains Frankie and Jordin, led a whole school assembly for Remembrance Day. The captains did a wonderful job organising and leading the whole school assembly, well done to Frank and Jord!

2025 Prep Transition Program

We are excited and look forward to welcoming our 2025 Preps on site on Tuesday the 26^th.

2026 Curriculum Contributions and Voluntry Contributions can be pd via MSC. Thankyou to those that have already paid. These contributions help to go towards the cost of implementing the programs the students use every day.

HATS

Hats are required in TERM 1 and can be purchased via MSC anytime. We now also have a larger size hat that can be purchased through the MSC site.
Hats and Beanies will still be required to buy through MY SCHOOL CONNECT until we have no stock on site then we will have hats and beanies available on the new EDUTHREADS uniform store.

Working With Children Check

The Working with Children Check is a screening process for assessing or re-assessing people who work with or care for children in Victoria.

At Eppalock PS we require any volunteers to have a current WWCC.

These checks are free for Volunteers. PLEASE CHECK TO SEE IF YOUR WWCC IS CURRENT AND THAT WE HAVE A COPY OF IT HERE AT THE SCHOOL. I HAVE JUST UPDATED OUR FILES AND WE HAVE A LOT THAT ARE NO LONGER CURRENT GOING BY OUR RECORDS.

Please remember that you cannot help out with any school activities unless you have a current WWCC
