Acting Principal On Site

Rhys Barri will be on site on Friday, July 4th (the last Friday of term), for our assembly and a meet-and-greet session. If you can come to our last assembly of the term, he is sticking around for the day to meet all the students, staff and families.

On The Deck- last Friday of the Term

Just a reminder that we finish at 1:30 on the last of the term, wrapping up another great term with an On the Deck performance from 1-1:30.

 Parent Teacher Interviews- Change of Format- Thursday the 3rd of July

Thanks to all the families who have booked interviews, the spots are filling up quickly.

Just a reminder that we are having our Parent Teacher interviews on Thursday, the 3rd of July (last Thursday of Term Two). The format for the day will be different than last year's interview format. Parents will still book an interview time via uEducateUs. The major change is that families must bring their child to school in a full school uniform. Parents will attend the parent-teacher meeting and take their child home with them.

This means your child only attends school for the duration of the parent-teacher interview and goes home with you after the interview. In terms of interview times, the booking times will be from 9AM-4:30PM.

The booking system via uEducateUs will become active today at 5PM. If you are available during school hours, please book an interview during these hours. This will allow families who need a book outside of school hours the option to book them.

P/1- Cooper.J - Cooper has been working really hard this week, listening and following instructions each day with Ms Howes.


2/3/4-  Jameson.P -  JJ has become much more resilient in reading and writing tasks and asks for help when he feels overwhelmed or unsure.

 
4/5/6- Max.M -  Max has been collaborating respectfully during our intergrated research project and consistently trying his best across all areas of learning this week.

2026 Curriculum Contributions and Voluntry Contributions can be pd via MSC.  Thankyou to those that have already paid.  These contributions help to go towards the cost of implementing the programs the students use every day.   
                           

HATS 

Hats are required in TERM 1 and can be purchased via MSC anytime.  We now also have a larger size hat that can be purchased through the MSC site.  
Hats and Beanies will still be required to buy through MY SCHOOL CONNECT until we have no stock on site then we will have hats and beanies available on the new EDUTHREADS uniform store.

Eppalock Primary School will be celebrating its 150 year anniversary in 2026! The date has been set… Sunday 18th October 2026!!  Put it in your diaries and spread the word!

We have formed a committee to plan a celebration. Please let us know if you would like to help!

Hi All,

The kids are well and truly settled in and ready for an exciting final term for 2025!

In wellbeing, the classrooms are diving back into Respectful Relationships, and are focusing on Positive Coping, where students develop language around coping, critically reflect on their coping and strategies and extend their repertoire of positive coping strategies.

While we have moved on from Friendology this term, we will revisit some components throughout the term, and when the need arises. We encourage families to do the same! A great one to know and to talk about is Friendship Fires: those little disagreements that can be normal in a healthy friendship (even as adults!). Grades 2-6 have explored this, and use this language often to talk about conflicts that happen in the yard.

Hi everyone,

We are updating our school matrix of behaviours that we want to see around our school as part of the School Wide Positive Behaviours System that we have in place.  The reason for this is, currently the matrix is very large and some of these behaviours are not things that students can actually control eg: arrive on time, and others are things that our students are already very good at.

So, we want to make the list shorter and directed at things that continue to be a problem around the school.   That way we can be more targeted with explicit teaching around the positive behaviours we want to see, and reduce the time it takes for staff to deal with issues that arise often.  

I have attached a link to a survey for parents to complete.  Students and staff have also completed similar surveys and we would love to get the community perspective on what you are hearing at home. 

Please complete the survey for one behaviour at a time; so if you have 3 problematic behaviours to report submit each of them separately. Try to think of positive replacement behaviour wording as this helps focus our efforts in designing a new matrix of behaviours.

The survey will be open until Tuesday 1st of July, so if you could get your thoughts down prior to then we would appreciate it.
