A big thanks to Amy, Chris and Michelle who organised such fun activites!
2027 Prep Information Evening- Monday the 18th of May from 6PM-7PM
Tonight we have our 2027 Prep information evening here at school. If your child is coming to EPS next year, we are inviting you to come along to the night. Whilst many families are already familiar with all things EPS, there are new families attending on the evening and we would love to have all 2027 families in attendance. This will allow new families to get to know our community and allow their child to make important connections early.
Curriculum Day and Report Writing Day- 5 Day weekend
School Council has approved a Report Writing Day on Friday the 5th of June and a curriculum day on Tuesday the 9th of June. All staff will be attending a Professional Learning session with other schools and learning about Mathematics. This means that there is no school the day after King’s Birthday. This means that the students will be having a five-day weekend.
Sovereign Hill Excursion- this Thursday
We are leaving this Thursday at 8:30AM and returning between 4-4:30PM. There is no EPS bus running in the morning or afternoon so parents must ensure their child is here around 8:15AM, ready to depart. We will send an update via uEduacatus on the day of a more accurate time of arrival back to school.
Division Cross Country- Friday May 22nd
The Cross-Country Championships will be held Friday, May 22nd at the Bendigo Racecourse in Epsom. Grades 3 to 6 students from Eppalock Primary will be transported to and from the venue by parents but will be supervised at the venue by staff Andrew, Michelle, Darcy and Jonty. If you are unable to arrange transport for your child/ren, please contact the school as soon as possible. Parents are welcome and encouraged to come along and cheer on the participants. Please ensure that you check your child in with Michelle upon arrival and again upon departure. All children should wear suitable running attire and should bring adequate warm clothing for when they have finished – shorts, polo and runners for the run and a tracksuit to put on before and afterwards. A shower-proof jacket is also recommended. Please ensure the children bring plenty of water to drink and enough food for the day so they are not hungry. It is a long day and children usually get very hungry. It is also recommended that students take a book to read.
