FROM THE PRINCIPAL - TERM 4, WEEK 10, 2026

Eppalock It In- Trivia Night

We had an amazing night at school on Friday night, filled with laughter, singing and connection. Thank you everyone who came along on the night, we trust you had fun and enjoyed the evening. It was a great reflection of our community spirit! A special shout out to our two Performing Arts Captains, Rhys and Ro, who did a wonderful job leading the night. Thanks to the Junior School Councillors who as well, gave up their time to support the evening, this night couldn’t have been done without all amazing work.

Thanks to Tan who also put in huge amounts of efforts getting the night ready, whether it was getting songs organised or decorating, it was a great effort.

A special thanks to those families who donated amazing prizes as the funds raised from these will go toward our Term Three Production. A special thank you and acknowledgement to Chris and Alicia, who donated a special 2-night accommodation package! Thank you to Nikki and Russ who generously donated a bail of hay that went via auction and thanks Tan who donated 2 music lessons.

There are still tickets available for the accommodation package, they are going quickly, please see Nikki to purchase these. We would love to draw this at the end of this week!

Student reports will be sent home on Thursday the 25th of June. Parent Teacher interviews will be happening in Term Three on Friday, August 7th. These timeslots will become available next term with more information provided in the newsletter so watch this space.

Term Two Reflection

As we reach the end of another busy and successful term, I would like to thank our staff, students, families and volunteers for their support throughout Term Two. Alongside our teaching and learning programs, we have seen significant work completed around the school. While this has caused some disruptions, the patience, flexibility and understanding shown by our school community has been greatly appreciated.

Term Two has been packed with opportunities and memorable events. We came together for our ANZAC Day Ceremony, celebrated Mother's Day with our annual breakfast, welcomed families to our Special Person's Morning, and hosted our 2027 Prep Information Night. We are also incredibly grateful to the parents and community members who supported our Hobbies and Clubs program and Italian Lunch Day.

Students enjoyed Athletics Day with Axedale Primary School, attended the GRIP Leadership Conference, represented the school at Division Cross Country, Hockey and Soccer, and travelled to Sovereign Hill for a fantastic learning experience.

Our community events continued to be a highlight, with the Eppa-Lock It In Trivia Night and On The Deck performance bringing families together and showcasing the strong spirit of our school. Congratulations also to our Junior School Council for their successful cancer fundraiser and the positive difference they have made.

As the semester concludes, teachers have been finalising student reports, which celebrate the growth, effort and achievements of every student. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to another wonderful term. We wish all families a safe and relaxing holiday break and look forward to an exciting Term Three!
