'The Possum Tragics' hit the stage for the first time at "EPS On the Deck"

On Friday, April 4th our very own band, 'The Possum Tragics', hit the stage for the first time at "EPS On the Deck" cheered on by a large crowd.

It was the first performance of the newly formed band who performed two songs:

Lonely Boy, by The Black Keys & Don't Worry, Be Happy, by Bobby McFerrin

'The Possum Tragics' have 11 EPS Student members from Grades 4 through 6. Our very own EPS Music Teacher, Tan Rusbridge, heads the band, running weekly rehearsals and organising performances. Instruments played by band members include:

Vocals
Keys
Bass Guitar
Percussion
Drums
Guitar
Ukulele

Three of the band members act as roadies and not only aid with set up and pack up but also are responsible for mixing.

It was a fantastic first performance. We can't wait to listen to them play at their next event!
