CLASSROOM MUSIC WITH TAN

In Term Two all classes enjoy weekly music lessons.

Our time together is very hands-on and involves lots of singing, dancing, playing instruments and drama. Elements of music such as beat, rhythm, dynamics, notation, tone colour and expression are explored together.

We listen to and analyse various styles of music and bands and students are given plenty of opportunities to express themselves creatively. Both impromptu and planned performances are a big part of what we do. But the most important ingredient is fun; my aim is for every child to experience and be imparted with the joy that music brings.
